Donations Needed for Roof Replacement

Did you hear the honk of the horn? The Chi Cheemaun is back and so is the beginning of the summer 2024 season! Which of course means that we are back to our regular opening hours of Thursday to Saturday from 3pm to 9pm, so come by and have a beer, some comradeship and fun!
We are still fundraising for our roof as it is in the process of being replaced. Donations can be made in the branch during opening hours or online at donate@tobermorylegion.org leaving a notation that the donation is for the roof fund.
We are still looking for some people to work our Saturday dances. If you have your smart serve and can work some or all of the dances, please reach out to us at runjude@gmail.com or leave resume at the branch. We need bartenders, door people and floor staff. Please note: we rely on these dances to help us with the yearly expenses, and the more staff we have, the more dances we can run.
Darts for fun is on Thursdays at 7:30pm, so come on out and take your best shot!
Meat draw is on Saturdays at 4:30pm and are always a great time.
Euchre night is Friday May 24th from 7-9:30pm.
Starting June 5th Bingo, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary will be at the Tobermory Community Centre. Doors open at 6:15pm and play starts at 7pm.
Decoration Day will take place on Sunday June 9th at Dunks Bay Cemetery and all are invited to come out and commemorate our veterans interred here. If you are interested in joining the colour guard to take an active role in the ceremony, please reach out to any member of the legion executive. Details on the service and refreshments afterwards will be posted on our social media channels.
