October has been a beautiful month. The colours have been fantastic and the weather has been great! Enjoy the great days before November blows in.

Before the next press is out, our Remembrance Day Ceremony will have passed. Please join us at the Tobermory cenotaph on Wednesday, November 11th at 10:45am, to honour and remember those that have fought, died, survived and continue to protect our country. A lunch will be provided at the Legion after the ceremony. All are welcome.

There is still lots to do at your Legion in the evenings. Euchre is the last Friday of the month (next one October 30), games start at 7:00pm. Every Thursday starting at 3:00pm is Darts. Everyone is welcome.

We are looking for regular volunteers for our weekly Meat Draw, Saturdays starting at 4:30pm. We are also looking for someone to be the Meat Draw coordinator. This involves organizing volunteers and completing the minimal paperwork required for Meat Draw. If you are interested, please contact the Legion.

Make sure you take advantage of the Early Bird Membership. Fee is $55.00 until November 30th, and then it goes up to $65.00. You can etransfer the funds to donate@tobermorylegion.org! All renewals are eligible for the Ford F-150 draw! Who would love a new truck?

The Legion is still open Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 3:00pm. Stop in and say hi to Raelene before she heads out for the winter.
