At Home & Community Support Services Grey-Bruce (HCSS), our vision is to see people living well at home. Our mission is to unite a caring community that supports people to live with dignity.
HCSS is looking for volunteers on the Bruce Peninsula!
Make a difference in your community by supporting seniors and adults with disabilities through our Meals on Wheels program. As a volunteer driver, you can deliver hot meals for lunch on weekdays or frozen meals twice a month. As a Meals on Wheels driver, your mileage expenses can be reimbursed, or you can receive a charitable tax receipt. This also applies to our Transportation Drivers, who help our clients access transportation for social purposes and non-emergency medical appointments. We work with your availability and are extremely flexible!
Join us in helping our clients live independently and with dignity. But why stop there? Consider becoming a Friendly Visitor or volunteering at our Day Away Program in Wiarton. Your positive social connection can greatly impact the mental health of isolated seniors in your community. Your time and effort can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it the most. Don’t hesitate, start making a positive impact today.
