We’ve done it! We’ve moved past the halfway mark of the season and are now hopefully, taking a breather after a very busy long weekend.
The branch itself is busy getting ready for September which will be upon us before we know it, but first, we have to get ready for the summer event so many look forward to all season long.
Summer-ween will be held on August 26th, featuring DJ Maxx. All are invited to head to the thrift store, create your best costume and come on out for some fun! As always this is a 19+ event, no I.D., no entry! There is a cover charge of $5 for entry for members, $10 for non-members. Please bring your valid membership card with you to pay $5. We hope to see you all there for a night of dancing and fun!
Darts for fun is ongoing Thursdays at 7pm. Bring your own darts or use ones at the branch. And the pool table is always there for a friendly game or two.
Saturday Meat draws are ongoing throughout the summer and are a great way to meet up with friends, and if you’re lucky, win dinner for two that night! Meat draw starts at 4:30pm every Saturday afternoon.
Also a reminder that Bingo is now in full swing on Wednesday evenings at the Tobermory Community Centre, put on by the Ladies Auxiliary. Doors open at 6:30pm and Bingo starts at 7:15, come on out and try your luck!
