On May 20, marking the start of the 2023 boating season, 48 boats were transferred from their winter abode to the water.

Starting at approximately 8:15 a.m. on a foggy, rainy Saturday morning, the crane operator, harbour staff, boat owners and crew, and other support staff worked efficiently to lower the 48 boats into the water at the Lion’s Head Marina.

It was a busy hub of activity, as boats were lowered into the water and were moved out to their respective berths. As usual the activity attracted numerous spectators and market goers to watch.
