On a rainy St Patrick’s day, it was a good time to head indoors to support the Skating Fundraiser at the Lion’s Head arena, with proceeds going to the Tobermory Primary Place Child Care Centre.

Multigenerational families spending March break together came out to skate, enjoy hot dogs, green slushies and activities such as cupcake decorating, facepainting and crafts.

Entry to the event was by donation and raised $1,200 for the Tobermory Primary Place Child Care Centre.
