On a bitterly cold afternoon with autumn leaves instead of snowflakes swirling around due to the strong winds, kids and their adults excitedly lined the parade route to see the Lion’s Head Santa Claus Parade organized by Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Two goats, two horses, one pony, four dogs, a tractor, walkers and many other motorized floats comprised the 12 entries in the parade.
Following the parade, Santa invited the boys and girls of all ages to meet him at the Rotary Hall to enjoy hot chocolate and treats along with seasonal music. Over 100 kids and their families enjoyed the after-parade festivities hosted by the Rotary Club.
Santa says he was excited to see all those young families and the kids attend the event.
