The 2021/2022 Skating season has now come to an official end. After the ice came out, we provided off ice training to our PRE-Star and STAR skaters. Congratulations Paisley Cameron who won the chocolate bar challenge. She completed two challenges! Our club had skaters travelling to Owen Sound to skate for the last two months under the Coaching of Cindy McMann. Kris Dawson and Cynthia Seifried also provided private lessons when needed.
We had 4 skaters who were ready to test their Ice Dances as the Owen Sound sessions came to an end.
Zoe McMann tested her Canasta Tango and Ryder Anderson-Burley tested Fiesta Tango. Elizabeth Davies tested her high test; Keats Foxtrot and Brielle Lawrence tested the American High Test. Congratulations to all 4 ladies who passed and are now ready for new ice dances when we start back up.
CANskate and STARskate programs will be available again through the Lion’s Head Skating Club. Registration will open in August. Please follow the club on social media so you don’t miss the online registration
Again we thank our Coach; Cindy McMann for her expertise. We also would like to thank April Anderson, and Sheryl Roberts who volunteered to assist Cindy on the ice. Thank you to Emma McMann who was also out to assist skaters with Ice Dances. Thank you to Brielle Lawrence, Elizabeth Davies, Jordan McMann, Riley Anderson-Burley, Michael Rouse and Breanna Klerks who consistently attended CANskate each week to assist with running the program.
