The plaque states “The Bruce Peninsula Press since 1988 has been recognized as a vehicle to inform the community about the many groups and organizations on the Bruce Peninsula who contribute to the wellness, safety and health of the residents. An Age-Friendly Community includes good communication and information provided to their residents. The Bruce Peninsula Press is deserving of this recognition as it includes letters to the editor, articles for information and achievement, advertisements, the NBP Municipal Council’s minutes, special events and daily activities.”
