To celebrate their 25th anniversary, the Bruce Peninsula Artists’ Co-op Gallery created a commemorative wall showcasing artwork by five of their inaugural members. There are paintings by Lin Souliere, Sue Dyment, Carl Bell and Stuart Burgess and a display of pottery by Mark Kelner.
A list of past and present members including eight inaugural members is posted on the commemorative wall (see photo).
The current Art Gallery and Gift Shop is located in Ferndale at the corner of Highway 6 and Ferndale Rd/Bruce County Road 9 (2866 Highway 6, Lion’s Head) and features the works of 15 members of The Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists (BPSA) as well as works from special guest artists. The art gallery displays all original artwork, including watercolors, oils, acrylics, encaustic, stained and fused glass, pottery, photography, jewelry and other one of a kind pieces. The gift store has photography books, art cards and other gifts available for sale.
Hours of operation for the 2022 season are 10:00 am – 4:00 pm from May 20th through to October 9th. In May-June and September-October the gallery is open Saturday & Sunday plus Fridays & Mondays of Holiday Weekends. In July and August it is open Friday through Sunday and Holiday Mondays.
