Media Release
No, you have not missed it! The Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association is holding its AGM on Zoom on June 16th at 7pm!
Tune in and meet our new Executive Director Victoria Serda, who is assuming the reins from volunteer Elizabeth Thorn, who has been both Executive Director and Board Chair for the last three years.
Through the Gravel Grand Fondo cycling fundraiser so well organized by Mike Campbell, we now again have sufficient funds to hire a part-time Executive Director. We are delighted that Victoria has accepted this role.
Do hope you can join us on June 16th as we share our progress in igniting community action on Climate Change, improving water quality, protecting Red-headed Woodpecker habitat, fighting phragmites, researching our karst aquifers and launching our bioremediation of phosphorus project.
Guest Speaker is consultant Will Meneray who will present the Climate Action Plan. See how you can make a difference and hear about the forward vision for the community as we work together to reach our target of 20% emissions reductions by 2030, only eight years away!
