For those that have been able to visit the branch since reopening, you will have noticed that there is a new pool table. Thank you to Rick and Ashley Salen for the donation of the pool table and thank you to the many strong individuals who moved it and put it together.
If you haven’t seen it in person yet then come on out, the branch is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm or at the discretion of the bartender, whichever comes first. Plus there is a Meat Draw every Saturday at 4:30 pm.
Please note that masks must be worn when not seated and social distancing protocols will be followed.
Some people have been wondering what the fate of Club L is for this year and sadly there will not be any Club L on Saturday night or on any other night held at the Legion. There is no way to manage Covid protocols in the environment of a dance floor; so in the words of Billy Idol, “With a record selection and a mirror direction, I’m dancing with myself.” Actually, you can dance anywhere you want, just not at the Legion!
Thank you to Rick Lane, Johnny Lane, and Barney Hopkins for cleaning up the grounds around the branch. Everything looks great.
