We are thrilled with the response to our Green No Dinner Dinner plans. People have responded with enthusiasm and it is still over two weeks away as I write this report. News is spreading fast.
There is always room for more. Remember your donation of $15.00 ALL goes towards our Student SCHOLARSHIPS at BRUCE PENINSULA DISTRICT SCHOOL. Rotary donates at least $4,500.00 in scholarships to the school. This year, COVID-19 has not allowed us to host bars or have our Pancake Breakfasts to raise funds. Therefore, we need to find innovative ways to raise money. In this case, WE NEED YOUR HELP to keep these scholarships available.
It is easy to help. You can do it in two ways:
1. Make a donation of $15.00 per person to our GREEN NO DINNER DINNER by cheque made out to the Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula and mail it to Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Box 305, Lion’s Head, Ontario, N0H 1W0. OR
2. E-transfer donations to our e-mail address at: nbprotary@gmail.com. We are asking for a donation of $15.00 per person but you are welcome to donate more.
BE SURE TO PUT THE NAME/S ON THE CHEQUES OR E-TRANSFERS SO THAT YOU CAN BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE DOOR PRIZES WE HAVE HAD DONATED TO US.
But the fun really starts when you actively participate on March 17th and send us your GREEN St. Patrick’s Day pictures of the dinner you have at your home that day. E-mail those pictures to nbprotary@gmail.com so that we can post some to our Facebook page: Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula. We would love to hear from you and see what fun you are having.
We are anxious to get back to our usual way of fundraising, but this can help us until that time. PLEASE HELP WITH THIS CAUSE.

Make St. Patrick’s Day a Day to remember this year despite Covid. Donate to this wonderful cause. Make a great dinner of your favourite dishes at home with your family. Dress in green. Take some pictures. Think about spring and how you are helping others.
All who win a door prize will be contacted directly after March 17th to arrange pickup of your item, if possible, we will announce the total amount raised and our draw prize winners on Facebook Live around 7:00 P.M. St. Patrick’s Day and you can watch the names being drawn.
