We are all going through difficult times with this Coronavirus problem. It has changed our lives completely both at home and at work.

Our Rotary Club has put all projects and fundraisers on hold until further notice. Right now we all need to keep our focus on staying well and being safe.

Please listen to the professionals. Self-isolate as much as possible. Help friends in need but keep a safe distance. This will all end but we need to remain calm and stay together as a community. We are NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA STRONG and will get through this and be better than ever.

Rotary Thanks Those on the Front Lines

How do we ever say thank you to the many, many people who still have to go to work to serve us? We express our appreciation to: Doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, receptionists and all the staff of our hospital and clinics, Nursing home staff and volunteers, Firefighters and police services, The township of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Municipal staff employees. All the staff and owners who keep local stores and businesses open, including: Grocery stores, Hardware stores, Post offices, Banks, LCBO stores, Electricians, plumbers and all other trades and construction workers on the job. Hydro workers, Telecommunications Company Employees (including phone, satellite and internet.) And a host of others who help us everyday.

Rotary also expresses our thanks to our Federal and Provincial leaders for their response in this time of need and we express our support for all the families with young people at home trying to work from home and look after their family at the same time.

WE HOPE AND PRAY YOU WILL ALL KEEP WELL.

We try to keep you informed, as well, about things happening in the community. It may be a while before we are all able to attend events and activities together again but they will happen.

The Rotary Hall, along with many other municipal buildings, has been closed and designated for use as Emergency Services for our Hospital if needed. It is CLOSED for any other community activities. Go out only when necessary. Stay home and stay safe.
