Community volunteers rehang the inspirational OFSAA Wall of Fame photos.
Submitted By Patti Hellyer

The OFSSA Wall of Fame has always been a source of inspiration for the students of BPDS. These pictures represent the hard work needed by the athletes in order to get to this high level of competition; which is no easy feat. The students who are up on the wall are very proud to have their picture up there and the current students strive to get their picture up there.

The pictures were getting old and falling apart and many had glass in them which created a Health and Safety risk. Many people recognized the importance of this wall and donated time and money to preserve this iconic wall in the school.

Community volunteers rehang the inspirational OFSAA Wall of Fame photos.

First the pictures had to be reframed, then the wall had to be repaired and prepared and then the pictures were rehung.  As usual, the community came forward with the money and volunteers necessary to do all of this.

Many thanks go to the following who donated: Pat Cavan, Paula and Doug Cunningham, Janice and Wayne Eckenswiller, Bill Allan, Vicki and Roger Stevens, Terri Munn, Bernie Hellyer, Mark Klages, Bruce And Joan Draper, Jim and Dannah Oliver, Robin McGuire, Martha McLay and Jamie Taylor, AJ and Kelly Arps, and Doug and Lois McLay.  Thank you all.
