Christmas is coming! And with the holiday season comes planning for family time, fun, laughter, gifts and food, food, and more food. Some of the most important food is COOKIES! And the community bakers and members of the Lion’s Head Hospital Auxiliary are busy preparing for our Sixth Annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 7th.
Come and let us do your Christmas goodie baking and at the same time pick up stocking stuffers and bid on some awesome Silent Auction items.
The stocking stuffer table has an environmentally friendly theme this year with dryer balls, Swiffer covers, our Magic cleaning cloths and other great items.
Once again the Silent Auction items are amazing, thanks to our generous community. Among those items are a BBQ and accessories, Christmas in a basket, a cooler filled with selected goodies, a Christmas in the North basket and more awesome items for the whole family.
The auxiliary members work hard to raise funds to support healthcare on the Bruce Peninsula. Thanks to all who work, donate time and efforts to make our events a success.
So……why not make a day of it and visit the other events happening in our community including the Lioness luncheon, the local artist’s Christmas Festival of Art, and most importantly of all, bring your wish list for Santa who arrives in the village that same afternoon.
See you on December 7th at the Lion’s Head United Church Hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
