NBP Fire & Emergency Services Assists Santa with Annual Toy Drive

Submitted by Cathy Addison, MNBP

The Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire and Emergency Services are grateful to our generous residents, cottagers and businesses who continue to embrace the season of giving and support those most in need in our community.

Again, this past year, the Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire and Emergency Services, RBC Royal Bank Lion’s Head and Tobermory branches, and the Lion’s Head and Tobermory Food Bank organizations teamed up to ensure local children and families in need received special Christmas packages.

With your kindness, these children and families had a brighter holiday season. Once more, we were completely overwhelmed by the generosity of the Northern Bruce Peninsula community. The community’s generosity makes the children and their families’ holiday so much brighter and happier. For some families that are struggling economically, to have this type of generosity from the community bestowed on them is so appreciated.

Thanks to the everyone who has contributed one way or another to make the 2018 Toy Drive another success. Without all parties working together and your contributions, children who would otherwise wake up with no presents to open, get to experience the excitement that comes with the Christmas season.

It’s a pleasure to work with the various “Secret Santas” throughout our Municipality and we greatly appreciate your continued support.

Happy New Year!
