The Pike Bay Community Association (PBCA) is hosting its 4th annual Canada Day Celebration at the Pike Bay Community Park (732 Pike Bay Road) on Wednesday, July 1st from 1-3pm. The park will be arranged with several local community organizations offering activities and information for guests. Attendees can expect to see the Bruce Men’s Shed, St. Edmunds Bruce Peninsula Museum, and Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association, to name a few.
Like in past years, there will be many activities for children. A vibrant new playground structure — equipped with slides swings and an accessible ramp and swing — is sure to be a huge hit with the young ones. The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Department will be appearing with a bright red fire truck for young firefighter enthusiasts!
Hot dogs will be available during the event and live music will create a celebratory ambiance.
The event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated by the PBCA.
Locals are encouraged to walk or bicycle to the event as parking is limited. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Volunteers are always welcome! To inquire about volunteering please email pikebay.ontario@gmail.com.
