OWEN SOUND, May 11, 2022 – Entrepreneurs with community connections and not-for-profit governance experience are invited to now apply to Catapult Grey Bruce’s board.
The local entrepreneur-led accelerator is seeking volunteers who primarily reside in Grey or Bruce Counties to join the board of directors at this fall’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). The board of directors provides guidance and oversight to the executive director and actively participates in setting the strategic direction and fundraising activities of the organization.
“Catapult is an exciting, growing community for entrepreneurs! This is a rewarding opportunity for someone to get involved and help direct the organization’s growth,” said Courtney Denard, Catapult Grey Bruce chairperson.
The Catapult Grey Bruce AGM will be held on September 7, 2022. Director terms are three years and candidates must be able to commit 5-10 hours per month.
