Thanks to generous donations received from Tobermory Legion Branch 290, Ferndale, Lion’s Head & District Lioness Club, and the Northern Bruce Peninsula Rotary Club, the Learn to Skate and Star Skate Programs continue to run every week through the Lion’s Head Figure Skating Club.

The Learn to Skate Program provides kids with the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, speed skating and ringette. It also promotes fun, fitness and participation while introducing a healthy, lifelong activity at an early age.

The Star Skate program offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, free skate and interpretive skating.

We are very lucky to have these programs, as well as many others, available in our community.

Coaches help the littlest skaters work on their skills.
Eager skaters take a break from lessons to pose for an action shot on the ice.
