The JK/SK class from St Edmunds Public School went to Singing Sands in Bruce Peninsula National Park on October 2. Tony Edwards from Parks Canada led us on a a guided nature walk where he taught us about many local plants and animals.
What a great experience for the students as we are currently talking about habitats in class. Thank you Tony and Parks Canada!
Annual Terry Fox Run

On September 26, students at St Eds participated in their annual Terry Fox event. We designed shoes, wore tattoos and sang along to the Terry Fox Run song. Students ran a total of 14 kms and fundraised $335 to go towards cancer research.

St Edmunds Public School had two young runners participating in the annual OEC regional run on October 7. The competition was strong and both placed very well. Way to represent girls!
