The sunshine lately is a promise that Spring is going to show up soon and maybe Wiarton Willy wasn’t too far wrong after all!
Our regular March meeting was held on the 6th and there were more members in attendance than some of the winter months. We were finally able to proceed with the Induction of the 2025 Executive; Dannah Oliver performed the ceremony.
“Head Table” positions for 2025 are President, Lindsay delMalmanche, Secretary, Roberta Mielhausen, and Treasurer, Bev Miller. Dannah Oliver is also a Director of the Club and a real trouper! Thanks to all that assumed the extra time commitment, the Club really appreciates you.
The Club received a thank you for a catering event from earlier this year. It is always nice to hear kind words about our work.
Reports from the Secretary and Treasurer were accepted at the meeting and a report from a recent catering event was given by the Convenor, Bev Miller.
President Lindsay reminded the members that our main fundraiser is right around the corner and we will need all hands on deck. We, as a Club, decided it was time to reinvent the Fashion Show from the way it has been done in the past. With a smaller membership and many other obstacles, we will not be offering the Dinner portion this year. It will continue to be a FUN evening with Fabulous Fashions from our Local Stores and AMAZING Desserts at intermission. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you there. Be sure to mark May 8th on your calendars and stay tuned for further details. Thanks for your support!
