The 3rd Annual Lion’s Head Pickleball Tournament was a success—both on and off the courts. This community-driven event raised a total of $6,000, with $3,000 donated to the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre and $3,000 to the Lion’s Head and District Food Bank.
Funds raised will support new craft items, playground toys and equipment for the children at the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre and vital food items for the Lion’s Head and District Food Bank—two organizations making a meaningful difference in the lives of local residents.
The Lion’s Head Pickleball Club has donated just over $15,000 to local non-profit organizations over the last three years. Giving back to our community is important to us!
Hosted in the picturesque setting of Lion’s Head, the tournament brought together passionate pickleball players from across the region, all competing for fun and knowing the proceeds were going to two great local non-profit organizations. The tournament featured multiple divisions, lively matches, and great camaraderie, creating an inclusive and energetic atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike. The event saw increased participation, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for pickleball and strong community spirit.
The club would like to thank all our sponsors, the participants, the club volunteers, the tournament committee, and the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula for their support.
