Every Friday at the Beach in Lion’s Head

A sure sign of summer in Lion’s Head is the return of the weekly Friday evening concerts at the beach.
Slightly cooler temperatures on June 19, 2026 did not deter the music enthusiasts, as community members came out to the first concert of the Harbourside Music season.
The first act was Gibbran and Tamsynn-Lee. The couple and their family have recently moved to Stokes Bay and were thrilled to be invited to open the 2026 Harbourside season. They performed many original compositions along with Tamsynn-Lee’s rendition of a Whitney Houston song which definitely started the season off on a high note.
They were followed by Donna and Mike Cole of Tobermory, another new music act to Harbourside, while Scott Parent, a veteran performer at Harbourside, closed off the evening of music.
Harbourside concerts are held every Friday night for the summer, starting at 7 p.m. at the Harbourside Stage, located along the shoreline between the Lion’s Head beach pavilion and the marina. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy amazing music in a scenic outdoor venue.
