Parade goers in Lion’s Head on July 4, 2026, describe the annual Canada Day parade as “pretty awesome’.

A miniature horse, classic cars and truck, tractors, ATVs, Golden Dawn Shuttle, mascots such as Clifford the Big Red Dog, a wide range of heavy equipment, along with the fire service vehicles all made for an interesting and unique parade.

The kids and even the adults got into the fun, as they excitedly snagged candy, frisbees, balls, and other toys tossed out by the parade participants.

Prior to the parade, community members enjoyed hot dogs and cake sponsored by the Lion’s Head Community Bottle Fund and hosted by volunteers of the local fire service.
