Record 154 Players Attend 3rd Annual Spring Pickleball Tournament

The Lion’s Head Pickleball Club hosted their 3rd Annual Spring Pickleball Tournament on May 30 and May 31. Players travelled from all over the area to compete, including from Meaford, Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Georgian Bluffs, South Bruce and Northern Bruce Peninsula. This year we had a record number of players over the weekend totalling 154 pickle ballers!

The proceeds from the tournament will be split between the Lion’s Head District Food Bank and the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre.

The club is most grateful to businesses who supported the tournament through generous donations and door prizes. The Division sponsors were: Katie Young Century 21 Realtor, Camp Celtic and Lion’s Head Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic.

There were exciting matches across all divisions! Many players commented on how beautiful the Bruce Peninsula is and that they can’t wait to come back again next year.
