See you later April and you can take the snow and rain with you! I do hope easy showers are in May and keep things growing and healthy!

We are now in month five of having the opportunity to get a free legion membership, for new members, for this year only in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion (actual date Friday July 17th) – a century of standing with Veterans, strengthening communities and honouring the memory of those who served. Please consider joining, this is your “free” chance. We would love to add more people to this great organization AND to have a few new members at our local branch. Please consider joining and help support veterans and your local legion.

Tobermory Branch 290 Annual General Meeting followed by a social will be held on Tuesday May 12 at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome. Please come and support your branch.

Save your Pop/Beer Tabs and deliver them to Your Local Legion Branch – Tabs can help purchase needed items such as chairs, walkers, canes, crutches and commodes. Please take the moment to wiggle the tab and give to a great cause.

On Friday May 8 starting at 7:00pm, come and enjoy Jam in the Tub! Members of the Open Mic music community of Tobermory and Lion’s Head are excited to present this live concert. Featuring “Trio Infernale” who are known for improvised takes on original compositions as well as vintage favourites, and “Hwy 6 Revisited” who enjoy performing classics and deep cuts from The Beatles and Dylan to The Tragically Hip and Neil Young.

Darts time will change on April 30th to 7:00pm! Barbecue sauce! (Ted Lasso reference). Euchre is the last Friday of the month at 7:00. Meat draw is ongoing – 4:00 every Saturday.
