January 19, 2026 – Brightshores Health System is undergoing an exciting evolution as it continues to strengthen its role as a leading regional healthcare provider. To help guide this next chapter, the hospital corporation is seeking engaged, strategic individuals to join its skills-based Board of Directors.
This opportunity comes at a pivotal time. The Board is now in the early stages of developing a new strategic plan that will enhance care and deepen Brightshores’ impact.
Serving on the Board offers local individuals a meaningful way to contribute their expertise and time and make a lasting impact on healthcare across the region.
We are seeking applicants who:
• Have governance experience
•Bring expertise in research and/or education
•Reside within the catchment area, which includes the communities surrounding our hospitals in Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Owen Sound, Southampton, and Wiarton
