The Whitefish Daycare Fundraiser dinner held on 14 April 2022 with two seatings was a sold out event – and was even oversold, with Bear Tracks providing additional fish for the extra servings.

Tickets were $30 each with 100% of proceeds going to the Bruce Peninsula Family Centre in Lion’s Head.

Patrons enjoyed a meal of Georgian Bay Whitefish, Baked Potato, Coleslaw, Roll, Coconut Cream Pie and coffee/tea, served in the dining room of Bear Tracks Restaurant.

The Whitefish for 80 meals was donated by the Lion’s Head Community Bottle Fund; while the sides, dessert and beverages were provided by Bear Tracks Inn & Restaurant as their contribution to the Fundraiser.

The Bruce Peninsula Family Centre staff and parents volunteered to assist in the meal preparations as well as being the cooks, servers and dishwashers for the event.
