The Lion’s Head Legion’s members will be participating in the Remembrance Day services on November 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Monument Corners and at 10:45 a.m. at the cenotaph in Lion’s Head. All community members are welcome to attend to observe the laying of the wreaths. We will remember them, lest we forget.

During the week the legion welcomes the community members to play darts on Mondays and Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Bring your own darts. Cribbage is played on Thursdays. You do not have to be a legion member. Cost at the door is $4.00. Darts for Meat is scheduled for Saturday November 9 at 1:00 p.m.

There will be a special Community Celebration on Friday November 15th. M.P.P. Rick Byers will be at the legion to celebrate the updates to extend the life of the building. The updates include new flooring in the main hall and fixing the foundation on the east wall. The legion received an Ontario Trillium Grant for capital projects. The time of the celebration is 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
