In 2021, the Peninsula Family Health Team stopped accepting new names for our waitlist as the size of the list had reached record numbers. We were in the height of the pandemic and the FHT was not in a position to onboard new patients.
Now as we look forward in 2024 and thanks to the successful recruitment of Dr. Heather Reid last fall, we are pleased to reopen the waitlist.
It is important to remember that by adding your name to our waitlist, this may not guarantee a swift match with a Physician. All of the Physicians at the Peninsula FHT have full rosters and we will be working through welcoming new patients into the practice on a controlled monthly basis throughout the year.

When you call this number, you will be prompted to leave your full name and telephone on the Waitlist voicemail and one of our Medical Secretaries will call you back to obtain your personal health details.
We will continue to work diligently in offering rostered spots to local residents and providing primary care as close to home as possible.
