November 7, 2023 – Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation recently received $2,585.70 from the Sauble Beach & District Lions Club to help raise the $200,000 required to upgrade the Wiarton Hospital’s Nurse Call Bell System. The donation was raised through the club’s summer long 50/50 draw at the Sauble Raceway. BPH Foundation was one of four charities that were the beneficiaries of the draw.
The Sauble Beach and District Lions Club has been running the 50/50 draw at the Sauble Speedway for ten years and hope to return for the 2024 season. This has been an amazing fundraiser for them. Sauble Beach Lions wish to thank the Sauble Speedway for their continuous unfailing support over the years and affording them the opportunity to raise funds to enable donations to be made to their designated charities.
