SERVICE – WE ASSIST, NURTURE, SUPPORT

It took a few days to recover from the Spring Fashion Show but our Club is so pleased with the results and once again say a big thanks for all the support, we really appreciate it.
The Club was fortunate to cater one event in May. It is quite exciting when we are working on a project. There are a flurry of emails and our members are so willing to help out. It is a great team!
Our Treasurer, Bev Miller, presented a cheque to Nancy Cunningham, the school secretary at BPDS, in the amount of $500 for the Secondary School Awards that will be presented in June.
This is an annual donation started by the Lioness and continued by the SWANS.
On May 25th, 5 of our members did the spring cleanup of our section of Highway 6. Our Club is responsible from the intersection of Cherry Hill Road to the Lindsay Tract Trails. They picked up 5 bags of garbage, 4 bags of recycling and lots of other odds and ends in 2 hours. Thanks very much for your good work!
