The Lion’s Head Farmers’ Market (LHFM) is excited to host their annual Christmas Market featuring over twenty local farm producers, food producers and artisans.
The Christmas Market will be held over two-days at Summer House Park on November 26 and 27, 2022. Organizers say “There’s everything from pottery, woodturning, outdoor Christmas arrangements, maple syrup, BBQ sauces, canned beets, Christmas hams and other meats, eggs, beer, artisan bread, candles, cookies, chocolates and holiday baking, various pieces of fine art, and much more”. LHFM Gift Certificates are also available for purchase which are redeemable at all LHFM vendors.
Three areas to the Market
There will be three sections to the Market, all located on the grounds of Summer House Park. Five artisans will be located in The Art Shoppe at the entrance to Summer House Park, other vendors will be in the Recreation Hall Lodge or beside the Recreation Hall Lodge in the Outdoor Canadiana Market portion of the Christmas Market.
In lieu of an admission fee, organizers encourage patrons to bring a non-perishable food item donation for the Lion’s Head & District Food Bank. Collection baskets will be located at the entrance into the Christmas Market.
Yummy food to enjoy
Goodacre Meats will be barbequing their lamb burgers, lamb sausages and pork sausages. The Booth Catering will be cooking their famous breakfast on a bun. The Summer House Park Restaurant will be serving their wood-fired thin crust pizza.
The Lion’s Head Farmers’ Market Band will entertain patrons with appropriate seasonal theme music at the REMAX Muskoka Chair Lounge and Firepit area.
