The Royal Canadian Legion began the Period of Remembrance on Friday, October 28th. It will end on November 11th. Branch 202 will have two Remembrance Day Services again this year: the first one will be at Monument Corners (corner of Lindsay Road 5 and Cherry Hill Road). Everyone meets at 9:15 AM and the service begins at 9:30 AM. The second service is at the cenotaph in Lion’s Head (corner of Main and John Streets). Everyone meets at 10:30 AM and the service begins at 10:50 AM.

This year, our branch is privileged to have the Air Cadets with their Captain at the Remembrance Day Services. There will be programs available with the order of service in it, plus the names of those individuals and businesses who donated wreaths.

During this service, Branch 202 will remember three veterans who passed away since the Remembrance Day Service of 2021: Don Standen, Ken Charlton and Hank Nuis.
