Submitted by Jennifer Dewey for The Tobermory Quilters
Saturday, July 9 was a sunny summer day for the Tobermory Quilters to display their quilts and other quilted items at St. Edmunds Museum in Tobermory. The split rail fences were adorned, as were several quilt racks, rustic ladders, and large tables, and there was even a Trunk Show on site.
Visitors to the show exceeded 90 and the oohs and aahs were heard throughout the grounds.
The group, led by Glenna Reynolds, meets every Wednesdays at the Light and Life Chapel from 9:30am-3:00pm to quilt together, collaborate, and share ideas, and are sometimes working on the same pattern in different colourways. Possibilities are endless! Contact Glenna at 519-596-8332 if interested.
