On May 9th, BPDS Grade 7/8 students along with teacher Melissa Rosenburg were joined by volunteers of the Bruce Peninsula Environment Group for a roadside clean-up of the Ferndale Road.
The 23 students were divided into teams of four and were assigned various segments of the road for clean-up. Spending about an hour and a half, the students collected approximately ten bags of garbage and eight bags of recyclable items. Photo Credit: Joanne Rodgers, Bruce Peninsula Press
