On Easter Saturday April 16, over 90 kids and over 250 families participated in the Lion’s Head Scavenger Hunt.

The families collected their Clue Card from Aunt Donkey’s. To locate the 8 clues, the kids and their families embarked on a scavenger hunt throughout the village which took them from the Bank and the Hardware store on Main Street, to the Campground, the Beach Pavilion and the Memorial Garden near the Marina.

Participants Emma Green and David Lougheed said it took them about 40 minutes to find all the clues and complete the scavenger hunt.

Families then enjoyed hot dogs and popcorn served in front of Aunt Donkey’s.

Other local businesses hosted special activities for the day: Scott’s Home Hardware offered treats, Peninsula I.D.A Pharmacy offered Freebies and treats, while The Booth Takeout & Catering offered free slushies.
