The Retired Teachers of Ontario (RTOERO) awarded a 2021 Community Grant to the Seniors Centre Without Walls’ (SCWW) program for 2022 as the COVID-19 protocols prevented the usual timelines for the Community Grant 2021. The SCWW is a program that includes trivia, laugh yourself healthier fun seated fitness, speakers and webinars on a variety of topics related to health, wellness, meditation, the environment and small group interests in partnership with the United Way Bruce Grey.

In November the SCWW celebrated its 1st Anniversary, a successful year with the support of many sponsors and contacts on the Northern Bruce Peninsula including the NBP Council Community Grant and the Bruce Peninsula Press. Everyone is invited to participate in any session, including seniors 55+ and their friends, family members and neighbours from the safety and the comforts of their homes using the telephone or zoom video. The telephone programs are toll free.

A monthly calendar of events is available by e-mailing nbpcsaac@eastlink.ca or dshcolter@eastlink.ca or visit www.scww.ca
