In these very difficult times for our fragile economy, it is heartwarming to be able to experience the generosity of local companies and the folks who own and operate them.
Our beautiful little church at the top of the peninsula, St. Edmund’s, unfortunately lost its running water this year. While determining the cause, it became quite clear we were going to require a major and expensive repair involving our well head, the pump, waterlines and filtration system. What we experienced from the companies we had contacted, was simply above and beyond our expectations. Not only were all repairs conducted with a sense of urgency, but as well at either a dramatically reduced cost or actually at no charge!
While it is often human nature to publicly offer complaints or disappointments, we don’t hear the “positives” enough.
