Hello Everyone, I know we are all sick and tired of the Legion being closed and in fact having to go back into lockdown has been very difficult, even for the most optimistic of us. But if we can just get through until the end of May; hopefully life as we once knew it may begin to return. Or at the very least the weather will be much warmer and that will relieve anxieties for most of us, even if just a little.
Plus, at the end of May, the 26th to be exact, I am anticipating a delicious Chicken Dinner courtesy of the United Church. If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, I encourage you to do so. Check out their website (tobermoryunited.ca) for information.
Until we are all able to congregate please continue to stay, safe, healthy and sane.
A Message from the President
Comrades, it has come to my attention that there is a group rate available for Sparlings Propane for all Legion Members at Branch 290. In order to take advantage of the group rate they need a list of all interested members from our branch. They will then contact you directly in the late summer to confirm the rates and set up the correct billing.
If you are interested in being part of the Sparlings Group Discount please email branch290pres@gmail.com by May 15th 2021 indicating your interest in the program and please provide your mailing address. I would like to have this done before the summer season begins and everyone gets too busy.
