Twelve year old Colton Boyer produced T-shirts, mugs and masks featuring the lighthouse which he and granddad Jim Oliver sold at the Farmers’ Market for three Saturdays over the summer. Five dollars from every item sold was donated towards the lighthouse rebuild.

The design for the T-shirts was done by local artist Suzanne Dyke and all three products were screen-printed by Boyer. Grandmother Dannah Oliver says “the mugs and masks sold like hotcakes.” She still has a few T-shirts available and can be contacted at Tel # 519-793-3496.

The current lighthouse which stands 6 feet taller than the previous one is awaiting its final exterior coating. Brian Swanton describes it as a “cement product, which will look like cedar shakes in an Arctic White colour”.
