Most will have seen by now the banner that is displayed at the front of the branch. This is the initiative of Christine and Bob Chisholm to show appreciation for all of the front line workers during the pandemic. Also, thank you to Kenneth and Marianne at the Tobermory Press for assisting with the banner.
It is important to give thanks and to recognize those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. It is also important for all of us to give ourselves a little pat on the back for taking the health recommendations seriously by self isolating, washing and sanitizing everything in sight, keeping our distance when going out, keeping those outings to a minimum and taking all precautions necessary to keep our community safe.
Please continue to check on neighbours and help each other out. Remember, “Tough times never last, but tough people do.”
