The award for most improved new curler 2020 went to Betty Hastings, presented by outgoing President, Arran de Malmanche.

Our third draw was held in January and won by the 3 man team skipped by Chris Reimer-Catteau which included Cole Hamill, Chris Reimer-Catteau, and Rod Barr.
The CRC Bonspiel was February 8, won by Lindsay de Malmanche and her team of Rob Nantais, Mary-anne DeVries, and Stephen Miller.

Thanks to CRC (Chris Reimer-Catteau Construction) for a fine day of bonspiel curling, amazing prizes and a delicious lunch. The noon skills contests raised $450 for the food bank and that amount was generously matched by CRC for a contribution of $900 to the food bank!

The Lioness Bonspiel took place on March 2 and was won by Chris Reimer-Catteau’s team of Chris, Christianna Reimer-Catteau, Katy Reimer-Catteau and Dan Currie. Thanks to the Lioness Club for an amazing lunch and prizes. The funds raised from this event are donated by the Lioness Club back into community projects that benefit all of us.

Curling starts again in late October, 2020. It’s always on Monday nights and is a great way to keep active, have fun and make the winter go by quickly! Be sure to come out and give it a try at our free learn to curl session in October.
