On February 15th and 16th, Lion’s Head figure skaters headed to Owen Sound to compete in the Skate Ontario sanctioned competition “Skate the Sound 2020” hosted by the Owen Sound Skating Club.

We sent 20 skaters from our club competing in events like; solos, showcases, Individual Elements and Team Elements. Judges did not hold back in their high expectations but regardless we had many skaters receive Bronze and Silver level standings and a small few in Gold. The skaters will be back on the ice Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday this week taking what they learned and practicing in order to clean up edges, jumps and spins!
