What a Great Community! Now that the holiday rush is over it is time to thank the wonderful community helpers who made the annual Cookie Walk such a roaring success. Thank you first to the members who worked hard baking cookies and bread, donating awesome gifts to our Silent Auction table, setting up, cleaning up and helping with the poinsettia orders and distribution. You worked very hard and always with smiling faces! Thank you too to the community who baked, bid and bought the beautiful goodies that were available. The display of Christmas cookies was amazing and sold out quickly. Hopefully we will have more next year.
All monies raised go to support health care on the Bruce Peninsula. If you are interested in becoming a member of this enthusiastic group of workers, we would be happy to have you attend a meeting and see what we are all about. We meet the first Thursday of the month (excluding January and August) at 1 p.m. in the Lion’s Head Hospital boardroom.
We look forward to another year of fellowship, hard work and fun beginning with the annual Perennial sale in June. Stay tuned for details of that and other events, all supporting healthcare for Bruce Peninsula residents.
