Tobermory Legion Branch 290 will be having their Poster and Literary contest on Thursday November 14. Please make sure your submissions to this contest are submitted to Kathryn Hauck – Youth Chair Coordinator no later than November 12th. Please call Kathryn Hauck at 519-377-1434 for drop off details or if you have any questions. Also, please make sure you follow the rules and regulations of each contest, as well as fill out the forms for entry. These forms can be found on-line at www.on.legion.ca/remembrance/youth-programs
Membership Earlybird Campaign
The Membership Earlybird Campaign is now underway until Nov 30th. The cost until then is $45 to renew, $50 after that date.
There are 3 ways to pay:
-Come into the Branch and see Kandice, cash or cheque.
-E-Transfer from your Bank to donate@tobermorylegion.org
-Renew Online with a credit card. Go to: portal.legion.ca, unfortunately, the price is $50 but allows another convenient way to pay!
When you renew your membership by the early bird deadline, you:
– Keep your account in good standing
– Maintain years of continuous service
– Support our Branch and Programs
– Ensure delivery of the Legion Magazine

Robbie Burns Dinner Jan 25th
The Legion is hosting a Robbie Burns dinner on January 25, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $20 and limited, so see Kandice at the branch or call Kathryn Hauck at 519-377-1434.
On the menu is Haggis with Whiskey Cream Sauce, Sausage Patties, Neeps & Tatties, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Dust off the kilt and come on out.

– Bingo by the Ladies Auxiliary begins Monday, November 18 at 1:00 at the Tobermory Community Centre.
– Potluck Euchre – Friday, November 22 at 5:00 pm
– Darts for fun is every Thursday, 7:00 pm.
– Meat Draws are Saturday, 4:00 pm all at the Branch.
– Tobermory Bridge Club meets every Monday at 1:00 pm at the Branch; everyone is welcome!
The Branch is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 3:00 pm.
