Thanks to the bottle donations from our generous community, Tobermory’s Primary Place Daycare was able to raise almost $2,200.00 to go directly back to the centre’s operating costs! Way to go!
We were very lucky to receive a large donation from Wireless Bay Cottages in Tobermory, who had a collection from the entire season! Thank you Raelene and Marco!
We could not have done this without the support of our sponsors Tobermory Cruise Line and On The Water Kayaks, as well as Brenna Urbanek, Royal LePage who have provided us with the perfect location to hold the drives. Thank you Mike, Helena & Brenna!
Also, a big shout out to our bottle drive mentor, Tim Hayes, who helps us with organizing all the drives, and to all the volunteers who donate their time to raise money for the daycare.
Last Bottle Drive of the Season October 19th
We are holding one last bottle drive fundraiser on Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 1pm at the same location, 7405 Highway 6 (old bottle return).
Bring us your cans, wine bottles & bags, cooler & beer bottles, and liquor bottles. Every item donated helps out!
Please note that bottles can only be accepted during the fundraiser, 10am-1pm on Saturday, October 19th.
