Horse Shoes & Hand Grenades, Adam Hellyer, Two Food Trucks
By Marianne Wood
The Bruce Peninsula Family Centre is excited to announce that the annual Lion’s Head Homecoming Street Dance is shaping up to be the best one yet! Local favourite Adam Hellyer has signed on for the Opening Act with the band Horse Shoes & Hand Grenades from Meaford, ON set to keep the party going!
New this year we have two food trucks to keep everyone fed and watered; Sand Witches and The Easy Farm will be serving up delicious local eats.
The Street Dance takes place in front of White’s Garage on Main Street in Lion’s Head from 9pm to 1am on Saturday August 3rd. Admission is $10.00 for adults, children 12 & under are free. This is a licenced event.
If it rains – no big deal! The dance will move to the Lion’s Head Arena at 4 Tackaberry Street.
This event is the Lion’s Head daycare’s primary fundraiser and takes an enormous amount of volunteer hours to pull off. If you are interested in lending a hand please contact Katherine at the Family Centre 519-793-4100.
We hope to see you all there!
