Northern Peninsula Coworking Space (NPCoWork) offers good coffee, good wi-fi and a good place to work at the Lion’s Head Rotary Hall on Tuesdays 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Since opening in November 2018, NPCoWork has shared its facilities with over 120 different workers, mostly Peninsula residents, but from as far away as Ottawa and British Columbia.
While most people come to get some work done or to have a meeting, NP CoWork has seen a variety of uses – people helping each other with their computers and other digital devices, working on art and craft projects, Korean language lessons, church-group meetings, we’ve even seen the start up of the Peninsula Investment Club (PIC) which meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. A rotating schedule of volunteer “animators” welcomes visitors to the space, tracks visits and hours, keeps the coffee hot and fresh, and are ready to help out with printing and getting workers connected to the wi-fi and to each other! NpCoWork works on a pay-what-you-can basis. We charge a toonie for a cup of delicious Ironwood organic coffee.
Over the next few weeks, we will reach out to our users with a short survey asking for feedback and input on future activities. If you’ve been to NPCoWork, stop in and fill out a survey or take a few moments to complete one on-line at, or email us at and we’ll email you the link. The survey closes on June 18th so please participate as soon as you can! Survey results will be used to complete a progress report for the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula and the general public.
Next time you’re looking for wi-fi, coffee and a place to get some work done, come to NpCoWork in the Lion’s Head Rotary Hall, 59 Main Street, Lion’s Head. Visit our web page at or find us on Facebook.
NpCoWork will host a fundraising DJ Dance Party at the Lion’s Head Rotary Hall, July 6, 8:00 PM – Midnight. Tickets are $10 at the door – LLBO – net proceeds to Rotary Hall Improvements.
